MH sends 4 junior high teams to Paragould, 7th grade teams to Melbourne

Basketball is scheduled for Thursday, as four of Mountain Home’s junior high squads will be on the road to meet Paragould. The eighth grade girls’ game tips off at 4:30 followed by the eighth grade boys and both freshmen contests.

The Mountain Home seventh grade teams will also have a road trip, as they face Melbourne. The girls’ game gets underway at 4:30, and the boys’ contest will follow.
Also on the seventh grade level, Marshall will compete in a jamboree at South Side-Bee Branch.

In other junior high basketball, Cotter hosts Mammoth Spring, Norfork travels to Bergman, Flippin makes the short trip to Yellville-Summit, Viola entertains Shirley, Izard County is home against Rural Special, and Western Grove heads to Jasper.

On the high school level, Mountain Home Christian Academy hosts Riverview Christian, Bakersfield’s boys travel to Theodosia to take on Lutie, the Gainesville girls make the short trip to Dora, Timbo entertains Nemo Vista, and Lead Hill is home against Kingston.
