
The Mountain Home High School wrestling team ended with a successful weekend at Berryville winning the Bobcat Winter Blowout. The Bombers took the victory by finishing seven points ahead of runner-up Har-Ber from Springdale. Mountain View took ninth place in the team standings.
Mountain Home’s Aiden Richey was named the tournament’s outstanding wrestler by the coaches after winning the 220-pound division. The Bombers had another individual victory by Austin Callies in the 138 weight category.
Also for Mountain Home, Elijah Lagg and Lawson Stockton finished second in the 182 and 160 categories respectively; third place finishes came from Aaron Talburt in the 195, Brandon Wheat in the 170, Michael Davis in the 120 and Drue Yonkers in the 113; Shane Rowden and Joseph Pierski were fourth in the 170 and the 145 respectively; and Samuel Alvarez ended fifth in the 152.
