Coffman, Coleman win Big Creek Snowman Open

Big Creek Golf and Country Club held its Snowman Open Saturday for its first tournament of the year.

Lance Coffman and Nick Coleman won the championship flight after shooting a nine-under-par 63. Andrew Gillespie and Andy Wescoat were three strokes back to finish second, and Matt Kelly and Brandon Maple were third at five-under-par 67.

Eddie Helmert and Mike Culley won the tiebreaker for the A flight over Seth Sherrill and Jeff Heinsohn after both teams shot a two-under-par 70. John Sullivant and John Reynolds ended up third at 73.

The B Flight also needed a tiebreaker with two teams shooting a 76. Ben and Aaron Butler won the flight over Zach Hutchens and Brad Coleman. Larry Green and Joe Durham were one stroke back to finish third.

The winners of each flight split $110. The runners-up took home $65, and $55 went to third place.
