
Basketball makes up much of the local Saturday schedule, as Mountain Home’s seventh graders will be on the road. They’ll be joined by Cotter and Flippin in a jamboree at the Yellville-Summit Multi-Purpose Facility.
Elsewhere, Bergman and Jasper will take part in a seventh grade jamboree at Green Forest.
Two local schools will send their high school boys’ teams across the state line to wrap up the Mountain View-Liberty Invitational Tournament. Mountain Home Christian Academy meets Eminence in the consolation final at 2:30, and Mammoth Spring will face Thayer for the championship at 5:30.
Dora’s boys will be on the campus of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, as they compete in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Classic. The Falcons will take on Lakeland at 1 p.m.
The Izard County Invitational Tournament will come to an end at the Harold Ray Jeffrey Gymnasium in Calico Rock. The first three games will pair Salem with Melbourne with the junior girls at 4, the junior boys at 5:15 and the senior girls at 6:30. Izard County’s senior boys will play Melbourne at 7:45.
