Authorities have arrested two suspects on suspicion of robbing the Arvest Bank branch in Lead Hill. According to Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore, 29-year-old David Powers and 42-year-old Lori Stilley are in the Boone County Jail and Detention Center on charges of aggravated robbery and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Sheriff Moore says his office received a call Thursday of the robbery in progress. Witnesses reportedly observed the suspects leaving the area in a small silver-colored four-door vehicle. Deputies received further descriptions of the suspects when they arrived on the scene.

Sheriff’s deputies from Boone and Taney counties and the Arkansas State Police later located the vehicle on Stonington Road near the Arkansas/Missouri line. The suspects, identified as Powers and Stilley, were taken into custody, and all of the money allegedly stolen was recovered.

The Omaha Police Department also assisted in the investigation.
