COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) – Missouri Democratic Party workers are trying to unionize. Party staffers announced their plans on Wednesday. Party Data Director Ben Conover is leading the effort. He says high turnover after the party elects a new chairperson biennially prompted the push to unionize. Conover says the hope is to keep workers on staff longer. He expects unionization to go smoothly.
