Basketball makes up the local Thursday schedule, and for Mountain Home, the regular season ends for the junior high program, as they will play host to Nettleton. The eighth grade girls’ game tips off at 4:30 followed by the eighth grade boys and both freshmen contests.
In other junior high action, Mountain Home Christian Academy travels to Brockwell to face Izard County, Norfork hosts Yellville-Summit, Marshall makes the trip to Timbo, Bergman entertains Valley Springs, and Jasper heads to Kingston.
The Bakersfield High School teams will welcome two different schools to the Jerry Taylor Gymnasium for Senior Night. The Lady Lions will meet Riverview Christian, and Bakersfield’s boys will take on Lutie.
Elsewhere on the high school level, the Gainesville girls are home against Hartville, Dora’s girls host Alton, Viola travels to Lead Hill, Salem entertains Melbourne for three girls’ games, and Calico Rock makes the trip to Concord.
