The Classes 2A/1A State Bowling Tournament came to an end Wednesday with Norfork’s boys picking up their sixth championship. The Panthers ended up at the top of the standings with a total of 3,677 pins to finish 237 pins ahead of Bay. Flippin came away with a third place finish with 3,326 pins.
Individually for Norfork, Ty Rosson was the silver medalist with a 213, 197 and 193. Rosson was joined on the All-State team by Brady Ham, as he rolled a 207, 190 and 158.
Norfork took third place on the girls’ side with 2,742 pins. The Lady Panthers were 36 pins behind state champion Concord and 15 pins behind runner-up Maumelle Charter. Norfork was led by Madison Lawrence, as she made the the All-State team with a 147 and a pair of 134s.
