The Rotary Club of Mountain Home has donated to the Mountain Home Education Foundation’s “Promise” campaign. For the last several years, local Rotarians have contributed $8,000 to help provide tuition-free education to all Mountain Home High School graduates attending Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH).
Jennifer Seaman, executive director of the MHEF, explained how “The Promise” helps give these students a free two-year jump toward their education or allows them to continue their schooling at a four-year university, following ASUMH graduation. Besides the donation of $8,000 to the MHEF, local Rotarians award an additional $10,000-15,000 annually, selected by the club’s Rotary scholarship committee, chaired by Mike Heslep.
