
The Mountain Home Education Foundation (MHEF) Board of Directors is accepting nominations for the 2020 MHEF Hall of Honor. Those recipients will be recognized at this year’s Night of Honors on Oct. 8.The Night of Honors is held to recognize and honor outstanding service performed by professionals in three areas.
These areas include former teachers for performance above and beyond their regular tasks; graduates from Mountain Home High School who have excelled in their chosen professions; and former support staff of Mountain Home Public Schools for their dedication and service (Earnest Perry Award).
An award is also presented to an outstanding member of the business community who has given unselfishly in terms of support and service to Mountain Home Public Schools.
Last year’s inductees into the Hall of Honor included retired educator Ralph Ingram, retired classified staff members Mike and Joy Walker, distinguished alumnus Dean Sanders and community partner Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Nominations are accepted on the foundation’s website under the “Applications” tab at MountainHomeEducationFoundation.org. Nominations for this year’s honorees are due by March 16.
