Courtesy of Robin BrazyStarting in the 1970s, Robin Brazy became the go-to designer that many rock and pop stars commissioned to create tour jackets for them. The first jacket Brazy designed was for Elton John‘s 1976 “Concorde” tour, and she went on to create jackets for other music greats including Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beach Boys, America, Peter Frampton, Heart, The Bee Gees, and Warren Zevon.
Now Robin is selling a collection of 19 original “first sample” jackets, including ones she made for Elton, Led Zeppelin, America, The Beach Boys, Olivia Newton-John, Frampton, John Denver, and ABBA. She’s hoping the apparel items, dubbed the Rock & Roll Tour Jacket Collection, will be of interest to collectors, music venues and museums, including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
