
The Mountain Home High School baseball team was able to notch another victory on the road Tuesday. The Bombers scored their go-ahead run in the fifth inning on a Tanner Burnham walk and went on to beat Harrison 4-3.
Dawson Tabor picked up the win on the mound, as he pitched 3 2/3 innings, struck out six batters and gave up three hits and two runs. Will Gross picked up the save, as he recorded the last six outs. Burnham, Jim Strider, Logan Walker, Satch Harris, Gross and Bryce McKay each provided a base hit for the Mountain Home offense.
Mountain Home also took the junior varsity game 3-2 over Harrison after the J.V. Bombers converted a 7-5-3 play at the plate to keep the J.V. Goblins from scoring the tying run. Isaac House recorded nine strikeouts in three innings, and Trent Jordan had five more strikeouts in two innings. Dillon Drewry and Cody Lance each had a base hit.
The Bombers will be back on the road Thursday, as they meet Fayetteville.
