18 business licenses issued in MH in February

February was a busy month in the City of Mountain Home’s Building Inspection Department with 18 business licenses issued, according to Office Manager Jeannie Anderson.

Records indicate licenses were issued to Quapaw House Inc. offering mental health and substance abuse treatment at 315 West Sixth Street and to Jeremy King for United Country-Moody Realty Inc. at 802 South College Street.

Other licenses were issued to Gabrielle Whitehead for Gracefully Styled 870, a retail business located at 807 South Street, and to Timothy Buffington for Colt Combative, a karate studio located at 913 U.S. Highway 62.

Andrew and Christine Hudson obtained a license for Overhead Door Company of North Arkansas, located at 1551 U.S. Highway 62 East, while Kirk A. Brown PA was issued a license for his law practice, located at 1223 Commerce Drive, Suite 2.

Bonnie Brown was issued a license for Billing Specialists Inc. offering medical billing services at 1223 Commerce Drive, Suite 2, while Charles Lee obtained a license for Mountain Home Laundry LLC, located at 1107 U.S. Highway 62 West, Ann Treat secured a license for Lakeview Car Rentals, located at 120 West North Street, and Ty Chapman and Scott Lemmons were issued a license for SOS Automotive, a used car business located at 1026 East Ninth Street.

The list of licenses issued in February included eight home-based businesses.

The eight included Josh Jones Cleaning Services LLC, offering janitorial services; Blake Atchison for Care Center General Labor, offering handyman services; Lacy Atchison for Care Center Cleaning, offering residential/commercial cleaning services; and Curtis Rodgers for Curt’s Handyman Service, offering construction handyman services.

The remaining home-based businesses obtaining licenses were Matthew Stevens of Viola for Stevens Family Lawn Care; Dwayne Munden of Gassville for Tree Trimming Specialist LLC; Mark Oliver for Real Media Studios, an advertising/ad agency; and Lori Rivas and Rina Lovos for Rivas’ Rentals, a rental property business.

Total licensing revenue for February was $85,141, including alcohol tax, occupational and pet licenses and garage sales.
