A local school district in Missouri has extended its closure due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Lutie R-VI Superintendent Scot Young announced Friday the closure at the campus in Theodosia will continue through April 24, as officials continue to monitor health and safety concerns.
Young says the extension impacts and extra- and co-curricular activities, including athletic competitions, practices, after-school programs and events. Students have enough work through Friday, and teachers are in the process of completing new AMI packets for the closure. Parents will be notified on pickup information in the coming days.
