The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas is distributing free produce Friday afternoon from 4 to 6 in Mountain Home. The produce is for anyone in need and will be distributed at the old Fred’s Dollar Store across from The Arena Sports Grill on Highland Circle.
Food bank Chief Executive Officer Jeff Quick says they have salad kits, along with other fruits and vegetables. Those who stop by are advised to stay in their cars, and the items will be loaded into their vehicles.
The produce was a donation from the Walmart distribution center in Fort Smith.
