A Boone County man, 42-year-old Mark Gordon of Harrison, has been arrested and charged with allegedly breaking into a residence where law enforcement found him in a hot tub and telling a deputy “you will have to come get me.”According to the probable cause affidavit, the deputy responded to a residence along Oak Brooke Place on April 8 for a breaking or entering in progress.Upon his arrival, the deputy reported hearing a voice from the side of the house. Upon investigation, he found a male subject, later identified as Gordon, sitting in a running hot tub.

When he ordered Gordon out of the hot tub, the Harrison man allegedly declined multiple times, leading the deputy to deploy his Taser and successfully subdue the Boone County man.

Further investigation revealed a window on the front porch of the residence broken and the screen removed. Decorative panels on the window of a basement door had also been vandalized.

In a post Miranda interview at the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Gordon allegedly told law enforcement all he remembers is being at his residence along North Willow in Harrison “looking at the apocalypse” and “all of a sudden he was being tased in a hot tub.”

Gordon has been charged with felony counts of residential burglary and criminal mischief, as well as a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.
