April light month for MH building permits; just 4 issued

Just four building permits were sold in the City of Mountain Home in April, according to Jeannie Anderson from the Building Inspection Department.

The April report indicates two building permits were issued for storage buildings and two for sign replacements.

Topping the list in value was a storage building permit to Deals and Steals for a structure at 916 Overlook Drive valued at $6,500.

The second storage building permit was issued to Aliza Elliott for a structure at 716 Baxter Avenue valued at $$1,500.

A sign replacement permit was issued to Danny Datson at 309 Arkansas Highway 201 North. The construction value for the project is $1,500.

The second sign replacement permit was issued to Charles Grinder at 205 North College. The construction value for the project is $125.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of April totaled $749, including the actual cost of building, electric and plumbing permits.

The city building and inspection department handled 32 inspections for the month.
