A rural Mountain Home man has been arrested, after he allegedly attacked another man with a baseball bat earlier this month. Twenty-one-year-old Hunter Kyle King is facing two felony charges in connection with the incident.

According to the probable cause affidavit, on May 3, the victim was at a residence in Gassville and received several threatening messages, which he was later able to show law enforcement. Shortly after the messages were received, the victim walked out of the residence to his truck and was allegedly attacked by King with a baseball bat. The victim was struck several times, as he moved through the cab of his truck trying to get away.

King allegedly admitted to the attack, telling law enforcement he “snapped due to a long list of harassment and disrespect” from the victim and others within their circle.

King is charged with felony counts of aggravated assault and terroristic threatening in the first degree. He is free on $10,000 bond.
