The Mountain Home Fire Department announced the promotion of four members this past week on social media.

Twenty-six-year department veteran Kris Quick has been promoted from captain to the position of assistant chief. Quick joined the fire department in 1989 as a volunteer, serving in that role for five years before joining the department full time.

Lieutenant David Green has received a promotion to captain and will be in charge of the department’s A Shift. Green is in his 23rd year of service in the department.

Stuart Swearingen has been promoted from his firefighter/EMT position to the rank of lieutenant after six years of service to the department.

Joining the department as a career firefighter is Kevin Ryndak, who previously served for four years as a volunteer for the department. Ryndak is a firefighter II and will be working on his EMT-B certification in the near future, according to the department.
