MH Council to address water, sewer items in meeting

The Mountain Home City Council will face a quartet of agenda items when it meets in regular session Thursday night at 6:30 in council chambers of the Mountain Home Municipal Building.The council will be asked to approve the funding of contractor services to be paid from the sewer expansion fund for Phase 2 of the Highway 62 sewer line extension. The bid will not be allowed to exceed the amount of $236,450. Director Alma Clark will also present the water and sewer completed audit for 2019 for acceptance by the council.Assistant Fire Chief Kris Quick will present a request for the fire department to enter into a contract with Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus to purchase a used 100-foot platform ladder.The final item of business will be a presentation from Mayor Hillrey Adams for an ordinance adopting an updated personnel policy handbook and a matter affecting the status of employees of the city, as amended and originally adopted by a previous 2006 ordinance.
