The Mountain Home City Council is set to consider the removal or razing of three buildings and the operation of mobile food courts when it meets in regular session Thursday evening at 6.
The three buildings are located at 502 West Wade Avenue, 1207 Rossi Road and 215 Lake Street. The West Wade Avenue property is the former location of Mountain Home Livestock, Inc., while a mobile home park occupies the Rossi Road location and a private residence is on the Lake Street property.
The proposed ordinances note the city is seeking to remove or raze the buildings due to them becoming dilapidated, unsightly, unsafe, unsanitary, obnoxious or detrimental to public welfare.
The council will also consider an ordinance regulating the operation of mobile food vendors. The proposed ordinance defines a mobile food court as a parcel of land where two or more mobile food vehicles congregate to offer food or beverages for sale to the public as the principal use of the land.
The council will also consider a request from Methvin Sanitation to have the city’s Water Department begin billing commercial 95-gallon cart service on water bills.
The final item of business is consideration of amending an ordinance expanding and redefining the job classification and compensation plan of a meter maintenance position.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Municipal Building.
