Building permits issued for Glenbriar Commons, BRMC top May list

Construction of a tri-plex and a four-plex at Glenbriar Commons and a remodeling project at Baxter Regional Medical Center (BRMC) top the list of building permits issued by the City of Mountain Home in May.

According to a report from Jeannie Anderson from the Building Inspection Department, permits were issued to Leisure Homes Corp. for the two residential projects, located on Superior Way off 16th Street.

The permit for the 5,338-square-foot tri-plex has a construction value of $258,000. The permit for the 7,184-square-foot four-plex has a construction value of $344,000.

The report notes the permit issued to BRMC is to remodel its urology clinic, located at 505 Hospital Drive. The project has a construction value of $150,000.

A replacement sign permit was also issued for the urology clinic and Combs Family Practice, located at 501 Hospital Drive. The permit has a construction value of $20,000.

A second remodel project is included on the list for May. The permit was issued to Mark Bertel for The Dels Inc., located at 145 South Main Street. The construction value for the 1,700-square-foot project is listed as $45,000.

The May list of building permits also includes two storage buildings. Permits were issued to Donnie May for a building to be located at 1152 East Ninth Street, with a construction value of $1,700, and to Norvin Green for a building to be located at 212 Parkview, with a construction value of $400.

A permit was issued to Buckley Neubauer for a 540-square-foot detached garage to be located at 917 Coley Drive. The project has a construction value of $5,000.

A permit for a 182-square-foot addition was issued to Johnnie Judkins at 2037 Shadow Oaks Drive. The project has a construction value of $7,000.

Rounding out the list were three sign permits.

A permit for replacing a sign was issued to Pro Signs-Harrison Sign Company for Domino’s Pizza, located at 1346 U.S. Highway 62 East. The construction value of the project is $20,000.

A permit for a new sign on an existing site was issued to Dijohn Designs for Foodies, located at 1350 U.S. Highway 62 West. The construction value of the project is $800.

The final permit was issued to Scott Owens for two feather signs for Auntie Ann’s Food Truck. The construction value of the project is $100.

Total construction value of the 12 permits issued in May was $852,000.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of May totaled $2,570, including the actual cost of building, electric and mechanical.

The city building and inspection department handled 40 inspections for the month.
