
After having to be rescheduled, the annual Memorial Day ceremony will be made up Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Mountain Home Plaza 2000 across from the Baxter County Courthouse. The Fleet Reserve Association Branch 251 will host the event marking the 20th anniversary of the plaza.
Chad Reading of the Good Samaritan Society will serve as the ceremony’s keynote speaker. Reading will be honoring three veterans of World War II.
The ceremony will conclude with the playing of Taps by bugler Don Shepard. Social distancing guidelines will apply, and there will be no refreshments or gathering after the event.
