A man from Norfork has been arrested, after he allegedly fired a shotgun towards another person. Thirty-five-year-old Matthew Aaron Blair is facing multiple felony charges in connection with the incident.

According to the probable cause affidavit in the case, Blair allegedly entered a residence on Fountain Trail in Norfork just after midnight Friday morning carrying a shotgun. One of the victims told deputies this was not uncommon. Blair is alleged to have raised the shotgun and shot it over the head of the homeowner’s girlfriend. The homeowner said he jumped up and asked Blair what he was doing, and Blair said “Don’t think I won’t do that to you!”

The homeowner called 911, but Blair had fled the scene when deputies arrived.

Saturday morning, the victim called again saying Blair was back. When deputies arrived, Blair was at the residence and was taken into custody without incident.

Blair is charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault, two felony counts of terroristic threatening and a felony count of aggravated assault on a family or household member. His bond has been set at $25,000.
