The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas has two mass distributions of fresh produce and frozen chicken scheduled for Wednesday from 10 to 1. Food will be free to local residents in need at Riverside Church of Christ on Whitaker Lane in Gassville and Salem Church of Christ on U.S. Highway 62/412.
The semi-load of fresh produce and chicken will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and is part of six semi-loads of food brought into to the region by the local food bank this week in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wednesday’s distributions are made possible in part by the food bank and the Mountain Home Lion’s Club.
