Scott Stevens to headline Saturday’s Baxter Summer Series event at Hickory Park

Country music artist Scott Stevens will be the headline act Saturday night as the Baxter Summer Concert Series continues at Hickory Park.

The event opens at 6, with a live DJ playing music at 6:30.

Country musician Canaan Cox will perform as the opening act at 7, with Stevens to take the stage at 8:15.

Attendees may bring lawn chairs and blankets as seating, but coolers and pop-up tents are not allowed. Handicap parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Other parking is available at Farmers & Merchants bank, the city parking lot and south on Fifth Street.

The free event follows all directives from the Arkansas Department of Health. Those attending should bring their own masks or face coverings for use when physical distancing is not possible. Physical distancing of 6 feet is still required from person to person or family group to family group.

Any lines at food services and entrances will be clearly marked as a visual cue for physical distancing. Hand sanitizer will also be available around the venue.
