The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office will open more parks on Friday around Norfork and Bull Shoals lakes. Some parks never opened this summer and remained closed because of high water and operating procedures related to COVID-19.

On Norfork Lake, campsites 8-69 at Cranfield Park will open. The day use area will remain closed because of continued high water, damaged facilities and debris. At Panther Bay, all campsites are open and were made available on Aug. 14.

On Bull Shoals Lake, campsites A1-A12 at Lead Hill Park and campsites 2-7 at Beaver Creek Park will open. Oakland and Tucker Hollow parks still require repairs and will reopen at a later date.

All available campsites are 100% reservable. Reservations must be made before a site can be occupied. Please do not occupy a site without a reservation. Reservations can be made online at recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777.

For more information, contact the Mountain Home Project Office at 870-425-2700.
