
Photo: Matthew SebreeA new trial date for 31-year-old Matthew Sebree of Mountain Home will need to be chosen. Sebree was scheduled for trial Aug. 24 in Baxter County Circuit Court. However, he has been a fugitive for some time, making it impossible for him to go to trial on the original date.
Matthew Sebree has been booked into the Baxter County Detention Center multiple times since 2007, along with his cousin, 24-year-old Kendrick Sebree.
Matthew Sebree was jailed again Aug. 18 on a failure to appear warrant issued after he was a no show for court dates related to his current charge. His latest criminal charge was filed Aug. 12, 2019. He was accused of having possession of several items of property allegedly stolen from storage units in early July last year.
Both Sebree cousins have been charged with a variety of crimes through the years.

Charges against one or both have included theft of property, criminal mischief, burglary, possessing an instrument of crime, battery, terroristic threatening, fleeing, theft by receiving and impairing the operations of a vital public facility.
Their records also contain charges of assault, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor, being a felon in possession of a firearm, being in possession of a defaced firearm and the simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
Both men have also picked up a large number of traffic offenses and have served time in the county jail and the state prison system. They have also both been accused of violating the terms and conditions of their parole or probation.
Kendrick Sebree is an inmate in the Baxter County jail. According to detention center records, he has been locked up since Christmas Day 2019 on a variety of charges.
