MHHS volleyball suffers 1st loss Thursday

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season at home Thursday night, falling to Valley View 3-1. The Lady Blazers won by scores of 25-11, 27-25, 18-25 and 26-24.

For Mountain Home, Kylee Sabella had 12 kills and 10 digs, Reanna Dodge finished with 10 kills and six blocks, Riley Schmitz had 15 digs, Riley Straka collected 10 digs, Tatum Smith had eight blocks and five kills, and Kiah Beard finished with 25 assists.

The Lady Bombers fall to 5-1 on the season.

In the JV match, Mountain Home pulled out a 2-1 win, winning by scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 16-14.

Lauren Wehmeyer had six kills and 10 digs for Mountain Home, Katelyn Hill finished with five kills and 13 digs, Cate Jackson collected 11 digs, Emma Crabb had 20 assists, and Emma Wilber had eight blocks.

The Lady Bombers return to action Tuesday at home against Van Buren.
