
The Mountain Home Junior High football teams won two of three games played at different sites Thursday night.
The Junior Bombers traveled to Morrilton, where they picked up a 40-16 win. The Junior Bombers improve to 2-0 on the season and will host Greene County Tech next Thursday.
Mountain Home split a pair of junior high football games at home against West Plains Thursday night.
Mountain Home lost the eighth grade game to the Zizzers 22-0.
For the eight grade Bombers, Jason Criner was six for 11 through the air, Dawson Dunlap had four catches for 23 yards, and Talon Palmer caught two passes for 27 yards.
Mountain Home defeated West Plains in the seventh grade game 6-0.
Carter Adkins scored the game’s only touchdown on an 11-yard run. Hunter Estes had two interceptions for the seventh grade Bombers.
The seventh and eighth grade teams will host Lighthouse Christian Monday.
