The next event in the Baxter Summer Concert Series in Mountain Home will be held Saturday night. The band Blacktop Mojo will be the headlining act on the Farmers and Merchants outdoor stage at Hickory Park.
Gates open at 6, a live DJ will play music starting at 7, the opening act begins at 7:30 and Blacktop Mojo will take the stage at 8:45.
Attendees may bring lawn chairs and blankets to Saturday’s event as seating, but coolers and pop-up tents are not allowed.
Handicap parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Other parking is available at Farmers & Merchants Bank, the city parking lot and south on Fifth Street.
The event follows all directives from the Arkansas Department of Health. Those attending should bring their own masks or face coverings for use when physical distancing is not possible. Physical distancing of 6 feet is still required from person to person or family group to family group.
Any lines at food services and entrances will be clearly marked as a visual cue for physical distancing. Hand sanitizer will also be available around the venue.
The event is free, and no tickets are required.
