A Marion County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon. The Arkansas State Police says 75-year-old Richard W. Sgarella was killed when he failed to negotiate a curve, his truck ran off the highway, went down an embankment and struck a tree.
Sgarella was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield but died from his injuries.
The accident happened at 4:23 Thursday afternoon on Arkansas Highway 235 near Marion County Road 4018.
