The Mountain Home High School golf teams picked up a pair of wins on their home course Thursday, defeating Batesville at Big Creek Golf & Country Club.
The Bombers edged out Batesville by eight strokes, winning 178-186. For Mountain Home, Rip Finley earned medalist honors with a 40, Weston Hoover shot 44, Will Beckham had a 45, Max Hough and Aiden Sanders each fired a 46, Gaige Chaney had 49, and Duncan Conley finished with a 52.
The Lady Bombers easily beat Batesville by 32 strokes, shooting a 130, while the Lady Pioneers had a 162. Reagan Webb was medalist with a 40, Ella Brashears fired a 44, Maddie Smith shot 46, Lauren Loving had a 49, Haley Czeschin shot 50, Reagan Hasselwander had a 51, and Grace Hilvert shot 63.
