Saturday’s sports schedule includes high school football, as Yellville-Summit will compete in a game originally scheduled for Friday. The Panthers will have their first road test and their non-conference finale, as they go to Newark to meet Cedar Ridge.
Yellville-Summit is 1-1 on the season. The Panthers suffered their first loss last Friday at the hands of Corning. Cedar Ridge is 0-2 after being routed two weeks ago by Bald Knob, but Yellville-Summit head coach Lucas Morris says the Panthers should not be fooled by the Timberwolves’ record.
