Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will host a fundraiser for Special Olympics Missouri this weekend in the Twin Lakes Area. The fifth annual Angling for Athletes Benefit Buddy Bass Tournament is scheduled for Saturday from 7 to 3 at Theodosia Marina-Resort on Bull Shoals Lake.
The entry fee is $100 per two-person team. The tournament is open to all boats, but anglers must have a valid fishing permit from Missouri or Arkansas.
Payout will be 60% of total entries, and 5% will go to the big bass pot. The tournament will also have draw prizes and giveaways, including a grand prize giveaway drawing for a John Deere Z345 zero-turn lawn mower.
