
Mountain Home High School’s top cross country runners were across the state line Saturday, as they competed in the Camdenton Invitational.
The Lady Bombers ended up fourth in the girls’ team standings, and all six Mountain Home runners ran personal records. Marcie Cudworth was the runner-up with a time of 18:40.52, and 18th place Jordan Ritenburg crossed the line in less than 20 minutes for the first time at 19:56.88. The Lady Bombers were also represented by Rylee Patterson, Emily Payne, Whitney Wilber and Leah Hunt.
Mountain Home took fifth place on the boys’ side. Whit Lawrence was the Bombers’ top runner, as he came away in seventh place at 15:50.08. Mountain Home also had personal records set by Tyler Firment, Bryson Hodges and Ty Lawrence. Andrew Westphal, Hendrix Hughes and Jacob Lewis also ran for the Bombers.
