Librarian Kim Crow-Sheaner says before the opening of its current location 10 years ago, the building was dreamt of and designed to serve the community, and it has not disappointed.

Crow-Sheaner goes on to give credit to her predecessor. Gwen Khayat was the librarian when it moved to its current location on Library Hill, and Crow-Sheaner says she was the driving force behind the project.

While the library staff is excited about the 10-year anniversary, Crow-Sheaner says the celebration will have limitations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
