Food boxes will be available for pickup Friday from 10 to noon at the Bakersfield R-IV School District. The boxes are free to anyone and contain meat, dairy, vegetables and fruit.
Food must be picked up during the designated time, and it cannot be stored. Anyone looking to obtain boxes will need to enter from Missouri Route O behind where the buses park and exit through the gate by the gym.
School district officials are asking those planning to pick up food to message them on Facebook or contact the office at 417-284-7333.
