High levels of coronavirus community spread across Arkansas continue

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Thursday, “We continue to see high levels of community spread across Arkansas. While I see so many Arkansans doing the right thing by wearing a mask, keeping their distance, and avoiding large gatherings, I know that it will take everyone working together to defeat this virus.”Hutchinson made his comments as the Arkansas Department of Health reported 1,265 new cases; 7,070 active cases; 547 hospitalized, which is up nine from Wednesday; and 103 on ventilators, which is up five from Wednesday.The Department of Health reported 21 deaths added Thursday, for a total of 1,503; and a total of 90,145 cases; with 78,405 recoveries.To date, 10,749 PCR tests have been administered, along with 1,444 antigen tests.Here are Thursdays COVID-19 statewide numbers:
