The Mountain Home High School cross country teams will be going to Hot Springs Friday with a lot of momentum. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be at Oaklawn Park, as they compete in the Class 5A State Meet.
Near the end of last month, both Mountain Home teams ended up sweeping the conference titles for the fifth consecutive year, and they also had the individual champions for two years in a row. Whit Lawrence took the crown for the Bomber boys, and Marcie Cudworth was the top runner on the girls’ side.
The girls’ race will begin at 11:30, and the boys will get underway at 12:15.
