Basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday sports schedule, as the season begins for a pair of Mountain Home’s junior high teams. Both seventh grade squads will welcome Harrison to the Mountain Home Junior High School campus. The girls’ game tips off at 4:30 followed by the boys’ contest.
In other junior high action, Yellville-Summit travels to Bakersfield, and Melbourne makes the trip to Marshall.
On the high school level, Flippin meets Valley Springs on the campus of North Arkansas College in Harrison, Ozark Mountain hosts Viola on the Bruno-Pyatt campus in Eros, Timbo entertains Greers Ferry West Side, Mountain View sends three boys’ teams to Newark to take on Cedar Ridge, and Lead Hill is home against Green Forest.
