Mountain View watched its season come to an end Friday in the play-in round of the Class 3A State Playoffs. The Yellowjackets fell to Hackett by a score of 38-20. Mountain View’s final record for the year is 5-6.
West Plains wrapped up the week as the Class 4, District 5 champions. The Zizzers pulled away in the second half of the district title game and topped Carl Junction 41-26. West Plains improves to 10-1 on the season and will travel to Jefferson City next week to meet Helias Catholic in the quarterfinals of the Class 4 State Tournament.
