MH man injured when vehicle goes through bridge rail

A Mountain Home man was injured Monday morning when his vehicle went through a bridge guard railing and into a ditch. Thirty-one-year-old Benjamin Price was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center with suspected serious injuries after being extricated from his vehicle by the Mountain Home Fire Department.

According to a crash report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Price was traveling on County Road 28, west of Linderman Lane. His vehicle reportedly crossed the centerline and slid sideways. The vehicle then slid back to the right side of the centerline, left the roadway on the right shoulder and hit a concrete bridge railing on its left side. The rail broke, and the vehicle landed in the ditch.

Damage to the vehicle from the 10:18 a.m. accident is estimated at $10,000.
