Over 600 North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) customers near Salem were without power Tuesday afternoon, after a dump truck tore down lines off State Highway 395. In a Facebook post, NAEC says power was interrupted to customers northeast of the Fulton County Hospital.
Line technicians isolated the tap running along Veteran’s Way where the truck had traveled in order to make repairs.
Restoring electrical power required replacement of a broken three-phase pole.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
