A Jonesboro man ended up with an open fracture on his left leg following an early Monday morning motorcycle accident in Baxter County. Twenty-one-year-old Christopher Spicer was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center with what the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office termed a suspected serious injury.
According to the crash report, Spicer was negotiating a right turn on Old Arkana Road, when his motorcycle overcorrected off the roadway. He was ejected from the motorcycle, after it went into the ditch and struck a tree, and he landed in a field next to the road.
Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $10,000 following the 12:15 a.m. accident.
