Basketball makes up the local Monday schedule as Mountain Home’s freshmen girls welcome West Memphis West to the junior high campus. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. The boys’ contest that was scheduled to follow has been cancelled. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Yellville-Summit hosts Ozark Mountain, Viola travels to Mammoth Spring, and Mountain View’s seventh graders make the trip to Clinton.
In high school basketball, Lutie’s boys will begin action in the seventh-annual Fordland Invitational Tournament. The Indians meet Sparta at 8:30.
Elsewhere, Cotter entertains Life Way Christian, Flippin is home against Jasper, the Gainesville girls head to Willow Springs, Lead Hill travels to Green Forest, Bergman hosts Deer, and Omaha makes the short trip to Alpena.
