Mountain Home Christian Academy pulled off a sweep Monday against Fayetteville Christian for two boys’ games at Harrison.
Mountain Home Christian dominated the varsity game over Fayetteville Christian 73-43. Gideon Spray led Mountain Home Christian with 17 points, Trenton Cox scored 14, and Landon Jines and Jordan Woods added 13 each.
The 14-and-under contest was even more lopsided, as Mountain Home Christian pounded Fayetteville Christian 64-22. Mountain Home Christian was led by Gabe Spray with 14 points, and Dawson Bingham chipped in 10.
Mountain Home Christian will head to Springfield on Thursday to meet Lighthouse Christian.
Izard County’s boys had a rough outing, as they fell to Jonesboro 70-56. Coby Everett was the Cougars’ top scorer with 34 points, and Caleb Faulkner had 11. Izard County drops to 9-2 on the season.
