Basketball makes up the local Saturday schedule, as two of Mountain Home’s girls’ teams will be on the road. The Lady Bombers and Junior Lady Bombers will be across the state line, as they meet West Plains.
Mountain Home’s varsity squad is 1-6 on the season. The Lady Bombers’ last game was Tuesday, when they fell at home to Harrison. West Plains is unbeaten in seven games on the year. The Lady Zizzers defeated Ozark, Missouri, on Thursday.
The Mountain Home freshman team brings a mark of 6-1 into the weekend. The Junior Lady Bombers are coming off at four-point win Thursday at West Memphis East.
The freshman game tips off at 11 a.m. at the West Plains Civic Center followed by the varsity contest. Both games can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
