The Mountain Home High School athletic program has announced another student athlete will compete on the collegiate level. Senior Marcie Cudworth has signed a national letter of intent to join the cross country and track teams at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.
Cudworth is a two-time individual state champion for Mountain Home’s cross country team, and she helped lead the Lady Bombers to the team title this year. In May, she was selected by the Arkansas Track Coaches Association as a member of the Arkansas Track and Field All-Academic Team.
Cudworth says having her teammates and coaches surrounding her for the last few years at Mountain Home has helped prepare her for the next level.
