Monday was a successful day for the Mountain Home High School girls’ wrestling team. The Lady Bombers captured the championship of the inaugural Bauxite Lady Miner Invitational, as they beat out runner-up Little Rock Southwest by 94 points.
Mountain Home had individual wins in their weight classes by Amelia Adams, Emma Martin, Gracie Wisniowski, Kylee Sabella, Victoria Bevel and Amelia Frounfelter. All six winners went unbeaten on the day.
The Lady Bombers also had second-place finishes from Mackenzie Clark, Emalynn Stephens, Jocelyn Bryant, Riley Straka, Miranda Jones and Cayden Jones. In addition, Kassie Kratchovil ended up third in her weight class, and Kayla Kirek and Brianna Balsano each took fourth place.
Mountain Home had a total record of 46-19 in individual matches.
